The Foam Stone is a buoyant stonefly dry fly built for rough water, banks, and larger surface feeding opportunities. The foam body helps it stay afloat while the stonefly profile gives trout a substantial surface target.
This pattern is useful during stonefly activity, high floating attractor situations, and dry dropper fishing. It works well in fast riffles, pocket water, bank edges, seams, and broken current where trout are willing to move for a bigger fly.
