Bubble Caddis - Tungsten

X caddis is our favorite dry fly of all time. This is our take on a nymph.

The Bubble Caddis Tungsten is a subsurface take on the caddis profile, built for trout feeding below the surface. The tungsten bead helps it sink quickly, while the body shape suggests a caddis larva or emerging caddis moving through the drift.

This pattern is useful when caddis are active but trout are feeding lower in the water column instead of taking dries. It works well in riffles, seams, pocket water, tailouts, and broken current where caddis are common.

Fish it under an indicator, on a Euro nymphing rig, or as the dropper below a buoyant dry fly. It is a practical choice when you want a caddis impression that gets down quickly and stays in the feeding lane.
