Black Flasher Streamer

One of our favorite early morning or late evening flies. Black is the easiest color for fish to see in the water plus there is some additional black flash to attract the fish. Subtle on the outside, but really stands out under water.

The Black Flasher Streamer is built for low light, stained water, and situations where contrast matters. The dark body creates a strong silhouette, while the flash gives trout an extra point of attention as the fly moves.

This pattern is useful early in the morning, late in the evening, on cloudy days, or anytime fish need a streamer they can see clearly. It can suggest baitfish, leeches, or general moving prey near banks, pools, seams, and structure.

Fish it with strips, pauses, swings, or short retrieves. Let the fly move and stall so trout can track the silhouette and commit.
