Cool little variation on a traditional san juan worm that features an underbody of rubber legs, durable body, and a lucent tungsten bead to help get it down in a hurry. We use this pattern a bunch during high water, but it also comes in handy when you need a worm dropper for a big dry fly.

The San Juanito is a good subsurface fly for early spring. The early bird gets the worm, and trout like the early worm. I just let it drift and caught a 14 inch brown right away
